Ino Shikamaru Fanfic

Ino sighed. No one came into the flower shop once since it opened! Come on it was Valentines day, don't people want to give flowers to there girl/boyfriends? Ino herself didn't have a boyfriend, but she's always liked Shikamaru. He was so laid-back and cool. Her parents made her watch the shop until they were done with there diner. They thought since she didn't have a boyfriend to go out with tonight she should watch the shop. It was nearing closing so she looked around seeing how many plants she could name. Since her parents owned it since before she was born she knew almost all of them. Except one. She noticed a flower that was out of place and she didn't seem to know its name, it was a deep red with yellow pollen and many layers of petals. Ino's brows knitted together, trying to think of what it was. Could it be a rose, no roses have a different shape. After a few minutes she looked at the clock. Five to Eight. She sighed. Almost time to close. She heard the bell on the door ring, she turned to see her old teammate looking hot as ever.
"Oh, hi Shikamaru. What's up?" He looked tired and yawned.
"Nothing, just wanted to say hi and happy Valentines Day." He said and she blushed light pink and looked away. He noticed it and smirked, he walked over and knelt down beside her. He looked at the flower. "Hey cool flower. But it's out of place." Ino looked at him.
"Hey Shikamaru?" She asked, he turned his head to face her. "Do you know what kind of flower it is?" He smirked and kissed her on the check and she blushed a deeper pink.
"Yeah it's a Red Cameillia.(It's a real flower, you can look it up.) You probably don't know it because it doesn't grow around here." She smiled.
"Thanks Shika-kun." Ino sang and they stood up and he took her hand.
"Come on Ino-chan, there waiting for us at Ichimaru's." He tugged on her hand, but she was still confused.
"Who's waiting for us?" She asked as Shikamaru pulled her out into the street and turned off the lights in the shop.
"Naruto, Neji, Hinata, Sasuke, Tenten, Garra, Kanami and Sakura, I told them we'd meet them at the Ramen place. For Valentines Day." Ino nodded and locked the door as she and Shikamaru walked down the street. Sometimes Ino would sneak out of the flower shop and walk around during the night. She loved it during this time, The lights, the people, and the moon. It always looked like a different world at night. Once they were at Ichimaru's they sat next to there friends in the front seats.
"Hey what took you two?" Naruto asked gulping down a bunch of ramen. Shikamaru put a arm around her waist and she put her head on his sholder.
" Oh, nothing really, just closing up shop." They all laughed at her lame excuse but ignored it and enjoyed there friendship with everyone and there relationships with there boy friends or girl friends.
Sry I guess it was realy short... hopefully next time it will be longer...
