Cool or Uncool?
Chapter 1
The Beginning?
"Life is uncool, ma! I hate my stupid new school! I hate this new house! Last I'm going to say but I still hate him, your boyfriend!" I screeched. My mom was about to say something nice but then she took in the part about her boyfriend and said this, "Wha- listen we had this talk before: we have been in this house for almost 2 years now. Now, about my boyfriend, understand that I'm dating him not you. We had this talk before, he is coming over for dinner tonight. So be nice! Now, go in your room to clean up your act! Now! And grow up! Stop taking your anger out on people!" I ran upstairs to my room and slammed my door. I started to cry. You heard what she said. Well, right or wrong, I'm going to start holding in my anger. Well, dinner is coming up soon, so I have to clean up my tears. I just can't believe she would say that to me. I am growing up, I am growing up good. I would suspect a kid saying that to me but not my mom. What would you do if your mom said that to you? She never was like that until she started dating that lousy dude, Nicholie. I just have this bad feeling about him. Just then I heard his car pull up in the drive way.
He has a blue punch-buggy. Oh god! I forgot the traps up at the dinner table. I put a fart alarm in the seat that he sits in, I made some thing that moves his plate when mom is not looking, when he tries to take a drink it spills on his pants, so I washed his extra pants in meat, and this toy dog I have chases after him. I didn't go overboard, did I? Well, whoops! He said two weeks ago ' Surprises are never a surprise' Well, it serves him right. I don't trust him, but I don't have any evidence that he is doing anything wrong. But doesn't change my thought that: he is only going out with my mom because she can give him a better job, he likes her looks, and my mom has more money than him. The doorbell rang. My mom called for me as she opened the door, "Sally, get down and be nice!" Mom's voice got tense when she said, 'and be nice!' So was really quite, as quite as a mouse, and went downstairs. I'll admit I am a little mad at her.
