Castiel was spread out across the spacious loveseat in the MOL Bunker. His legs dangling of the armrest, with his head in Dean's lap. Dean had his feet kicked out crossed at the ankles; one arm over the back of the couch, the other tangled in Castiel's hair. This was his favorite thing now, after becoming human, just laying here, while Dean ran his fingers through his black scruffy hair, occasionally tracing the shell of his ear with a fingertip.

It had been two weeks since the fall of the angels and Heaven closing the pearly gates. Castiel had finally come to terms with it. It took even longer, though for him to admit he needed Dean and much longer for Dean to admit he needs Cas just as much. So here they were three months later.

Dean looked down at his angel pulling lighting at the tresses of hair between his fingers to get the other males attention. Castiel turned his head to look up at Dean.

"What is it Dean?" He didn't answer; instead he leaned down and kissed Cas tenderly on the lips, rubbing his thumb across Cas's stubble covered cheek.

"You'll always be my angel."

Cas matched Dean's smile, pulling him down for another kiss.

"And you will always be my Hunter."
