"Forever," KT smiled. She was in love, there was no denying it. She was in love and all she felt was bliss. Nothing else.

Then she woke up, to her disappointment. She sat in her small childhood bedroom in Pennsylvania, USA, where she had moved back after graduation. She was planning to go to college at MIT, her fascination in eventing things made her curious, and the events at Anubis house told her anything was possible.

But she was missing someone, or something. Tree. Her favorite Tree in the world. The one that made her heart beat out of her chest, made her knees shake and feel like jelly, the one who made her world turn upside down. It was never supposed to happen; it just did. She fell in love, although it wasn't a normal thing, Patricia commenting on that when KT revealed they were in a serious relationship.

Mara gave Fabian a creeped out glare and Fabian gave KT an awkward shoulder pat with a smile.

Alfie asked, "Is that even legal?" and Eddie elbowed him in the stomach.

She knew their love would not be accepted and that it would never be. It was forbidden, quite literally, in most countries.

Willow was really excited since she loved Trees and she felt she could bond with someone.

But then it happened. KT was leaving the house for the final time and went out to the woods to see Tree.

And there he was. With a man standing there. The man had his back to her and KT felt worried. She knew something bad was about to happen.
And then, a chainsaw started. And it hit Tree with a loud noise causing tears to brim in the dark skinned girl's eyes. She couldn't stop it. She watched as the bark flew away, KT's heart breaking into a million pieces as they did.

After minutes of watching the man, KT broke down on the ground. It was too much for her to deal with. Then the silence overtook her. There was no saw or flying bark, just the wind.

She just looked at the group in front of her. Saw dust made the air a smell of regret. She crawled close to where her love once stood. But it was only a stump now, small bits of bark surrounding them both.

She felt like she had been ripped to pieces, even more than her love had been.
