Teddy stood at the mirror, looking over a new form he'd invented- slender, shorter and pale- a slight frown on his face. "What do you think?"

Billy tried to hide a snort, "it's…very becoming."

"What's your damage, yo?"

"You're so street."

"You know you love it."

"Tell me why you're doing this again."

"I need friends who aren't superheroes or you. And these friends would be a bit intimidated by the way I normally…appear."

"Hulky?"

"Precisely."

"Real friends would like you for who you are- I do."

"Sadly, you are both a superhero and you, thus, pain me as it does, I must part from you, dear William." He bent down and kissed Billy's hand.

"Eloquent."

"You know you love it."

"I thought I loved it when you were street."

"My zingers have no established continuity, and canon can be broken at any time."

"Good to know."

"What are you gonna do this evening?"

"Probably visit Tommy's grave."

"Billy-"

"It's important to me."

"…Want me to come?"

"I want you to get this," he gestured at the mirror, "whatever it is, out of your system; and then come home and sex me up something rotten."

"Can do." Teddy leant over and kissed his lover, "Say hi to Tommy for me."

"I'll neglect to mention that you've gone all homeboy. He'd enjoy it too much."
