A/N1: this is a short fanfic is dedicated to one of my close friend and I wish her a happy anniversary
Rose Hathaway was deep asleep and wasn't concise of what was happening around her. Her former instructor, her best friend ,her partner ,her companion and her lover Dimitri Belikov was watching her .
He couldn't believe the love he had for her, she was his life. As he sat there he thought of all the hardship they endure and how they managed to survey every single one of them. He was glad that she was here in his arms and he thank every single creature in heaven for giving his this gift, the gift of being blest with her love.
He really did regret the fact that he had to leave her even if it was for a few days, but he had to uphold his duties. If it were up to his they would have spend the whole day in bed in each others embrace, but at fate had other plan with them.
When Rose woke up she felt the right side of the bed empty "Comrade ..?" asked Rose, but didn't get a reply. She then felt something soft and small on her pillow. It was cover in red rose petals and on Dimitri's pillow was a long stem red rose with o note attach to it
' I'm sorry I didn't wake my Roza but you look so peaceful so didn't have it in me to wake you up. I'll be home soon. I love you! Я тебя люблю ! Dimitri'
Rose was sad that Dimitri had left but she knew the importance of there duties ,but she was glad for this small but romantic gesture. She studied the rose and re-read the note a few more time before she got out of bed and started her day. She place the rose in a glass next to her bed and fold the note under her pillow and went on with her day and waited for Dimitri to come back home.
