Twilight was at her library, it was a slow day at the library, and she had read every book in the library that day, and so she decided she wanted something to do, so she decided to go see her friend applejack at her home.
When Twilight got to Sweet Apple Acres, she knocked on the door to Applejack's house and there was applejack opening the door. Applejack tried to talk to Twilight but she couldn't get any words out. Twilight asked," Is anyone else here", Applejack shook her head no, Twilight took a silent look at Applejack and said to Applejack, "Are you feeling okay", Applejack tried to talk and she let out a big cough accompanied by a sneeze, she felt like she was gonna pass out, when suddenly twilight ran up behind her and caught her before she fell, twilight felt Applejack's head and explained, wow you are sick, lets get you on the sofa across the room, i'll get you something to drink.
Twilight lay Applejack on the sofa, and applejack started coughing again, twilight asked what other symptoms were there, applejack was explaining that she had a headache and a sore throat as well as some fatigue and dizziness. Twilight then asked where was the rest of the family, she explained they were all out running numerous errands for the house, including buying medicine, Twilight asked why did you need medicine, Applejack explained everything started yesterday and when the cough got bad, she told the family to run to get medicine. Twilight asked, do you need anything in the meantime, applejack said some water would be fine and that she was getting a little hungry as well. Twilight said, i can see if there is any soup in the kitchen and if she wanted a particular kind, applejack said there is some carrot soup in one of the cabinets if she could make that that would be good. So twilight went into the kitchen to look for the carrot soup. A few seconds later, applejack started to fall drowsy, so Twilight started looking for the carrot soup, a few minutes later she found the can of carrot soup and started cooking it.
While Twilight was cooking the soup, Applebloom, Big Mac and Granny Smith came home, they noticed Applejack asleep on the sofa so they went to the kitchen since they smelled something cooking and they saw Twilight there. Applebloom asked when did you get here, we left applejack home alone. Twilight explained that she had a slow day at the library and thought applejack would want some company, is that too much to ask. Granny smith than explained thanks for coming over. Twilight asked both of them, how long was applejack in her condition, applebloom said it was at least 1-2 days, but she had a bad spell of the flu, so we took a quick trip to the pharmacy to get medicine and we didn't have time to call someone to take care of her. Twilight asked where was the medicine, applebloom got one small box of cold and flu medicine out of the plastic bag she was holding and also grabbed some of the soup twilight had been cooking. Twilight quickly woke up applejack and said your soup is ready. Applejack opened her eyes and noticed the soup, twilight was carrying the glass of water applejack wanted.
A few days later, Applejack was starting to feel better, and when she gotten enough of her strength back, she thanked twilight for helping her out, and twilight said no problem, that's what friends are for right, both of them ended up laughing.
