"Don't."

"Come on."

"Do not."

Wally smirked, raising an eyebrow. "And if I do?"

"I will say no."

He crossed his arms, genuinely surprised.

"Wallace Rudolph West, if you propose to me in front of all the Titans, I will bury you alive." She hissed, narrowing her eyes at the speedster. She knew he was bound to pop the question anytime now.

She placed her hand on his elbow, taking a careful look around the Tower. Kole and Argent were talking in one corner, Cyborg and Gnaark having another eating contest.

"We'll see." he murmured, kissing her lightly before speeding off.

Jinx contemplated the restaurant for tonight as she walked alongside Wally. "We could try that one on Elms Boulevard, unless that jerk of a waiter is serving there tonight, god, he was such an assho-"

Her eyes widened slightly as she noticed Wally get down on one knee from the corner of her eye. Turning to him, she blinked, lips parted.

"Jinx..."

Her breath hitched. Looking down at him, she softened her eyes and-

"Will you wait for me while I tie my shoelace?"

She glared and crossed her arms as she began walking away. "I hate you."

"What, why? I had to tie my shoelace-oh, did you think I was gonna propo-" He tied his shoelace quickly before running to catch up with her. "Why would you think that?" he grinned.

"Pfft, why would I think that? So dumb, right?" she tried not to laugh, but couldn't help her eyes crinkling. Shaking her head at his stupidity, she reached for his hand and interlocked his fingers with hers.
