The old woman gathered her grandchildren to her fire place she held the book firm in her arms a pure red, blood red book. "What is it grandmother?" asked the curious red head child "Will you read us a story?" asked her sister.

"Yes a book my dead sister gave me I would like to read it to you so sit and make yourself comfortable." She opened the book and a small picture of a girl with bunny ears dressed in red beside her was a girl with bunny ears as well only in black, had fallen out. The red head child held it up.

"Is this you and your sister grandma?" she asked handing it back to her grandmother; the grandmother held it up to look at and placed it back in the book.

"All will be answered child let's begin shall we?"

Once Upon a time there were two girls their names were blackcap and redcap they were quite different. Redcap was more talkative and playful and passionate then blackcap, blackcap was clever and darker then her sister together they were whole. This story has two sides the first is a simple one the truth of the two sisters.

Redcap loved the wolf that was known as Mr. Wolf and her sister loved him too. Her jealousy got the best of her as it does to everyone. Redcap and Blackcap sat in their Garden Redcap kept going on about her time out with Mr. Wolf as they played often. Blackcap got up and held the dagger close to her as she stood behind her sister and grabbed her hair. Redcap let out a yelp as Blackcap pushed her sister's head onto the ground. "Don't run sister it will only hurt more." She took her dagger and pressed hard onto her sister's leg scarlet started to appear. "A dagger can't do much can it?" she took her sisters legs and bound them together with a rope and then did the same with recap's hands. She disappeared and fetched a hacksaw and reappeared into her sister's sight. Redcap stared at her sister in confusion.

"What are you doing Blackcap? Why do you do this?" she asked

"The roses are white this year sister I want to paint them red, but love can never be painted, can it?" She placed the hack saw on Redcap's leg again and began to cut the screams and cries of Redcap's voice could not be heard for miles. "I cut your leg off so you cannot run to him." She took the dagger back into her hand and cut her sister's red hair straight off "I cut your hair so you cannot be pretty." She picked up the hair and the leg and threw them next to the rose bush.

"Blackcap why?" she asked her face drenched in sweat and blood. Blackcap took the dagger and sighed.

"I will cut out your eye so you cannot see him, and take your lips so you cannot speak to him." She put the dagger down then reached her hand to her sister's eye and grabbed it, Redcap let out a scream and cries as the eye ball fell to the ground. "Now for your lips" Blackcap picked her dagger back up and slowly carved Redcap's lips out her sister let out cries and tears. Blackcap picked up her sister and walked her into the dark forest and dropped her down under the crystal trees and left her there. Redcap stared up at the crystals as a puddle of scarlet blood spread across the grass she stared at the closest crystal and saw children playing and laughing and it haunts her. Blood covers her skin darkness comes and does not leave the dying child as her body turns colder and damp she only sings a song to herself as she slowly dies.

"It's over children I will read you the other story later. Do you have questions?" The Grandmother asked.

"Grandmother you killed your sister for a man?" the red head child asked

"Yes I did for selfish reasons; the cries of her pain haunt me forever jealousy gets the best of you and you end up doing things you don't want to do." The Grandmother looks at the picture of her and her sister. "And I am bound to hell for what I have done."
