Disclaimer- Digimon and all it's characters are not copyright me, but copyright Toei Animation/Bandai (there probably are others, but I can't remember offhand). I wish they were, but sadly, not all wishes come true. The only thing that's copyright me is this fanfic, so no stealing, kiddies.
Author's Notes- *laughs* I don't know what to say about this...but that read this all to the end. I found it amusing when I was writing it, at least! Please review..I'd like to know your thoughts on this. Just a short l'il standalone..
"You're going down, Ken.", Daisuke growled. It was the final showdown..and he knew who the winner would be. His face was painted with a scowl as he advanced towards his prey, like a wild animal. He would be victor, no way was Motomiya Daisuke about to be put in by some one like..him.
"You speak like you actually know what you're doing...Daisuke.", Ken hissed out, giving his opponent a sadistic smile that could send shivers down the bravest man. Daisuke suddenly ran in the opposite direction, avoiding all glances towards Ken. He wouldn't let his affection towards the enemy get in his way...not now.
"Childsplay!", Ken screamed out and started in pursuit of his opposite. It was like a fox after a helpless rabbit....so easy. It was amusing chasing Daisuke, knowing that his ego was growing with every stride forward, and knowing that he was about to crush that underneath his foot.
Ken glanced around. "Now where could you be, Daisuke...? Trying to trick me, ne?", this was -very- amusing, to say the least. He started to whistle,
"Oh where, oh where could my Dai-chan be....? I shall count to ten..."
Aha! Obvious.
"1...", he counted, feeling Daisuke's breath shallow in apprehension,
"2...", he was trying to decide whether to run or to stay.
"10! Thought you could run, eh?!", Ken gave an almost maniacal grin at Daisuke, who in turn gave him a look of mock contempt and started off in the opposite direction yet again. Repetitive, it was....but still as much as Ichijouji loved a challenge, it was nice to have something simple once in a while..
Daisuke gave in a shallow gasp of air. This was getting harder than he expected...not that he really minded. He was finding some crooked fulfillment in doing this, running away from his keeper. It was fun teasing someone like that, he admitted...even though it was in a way contradicting his feelings on a certain someone..but he wouldn't get into that.
The was a fight to be won here! Now...to seek refuge would be hard, seeing that he was in a open field....
"Aw, shit...", he murmured out, and ran for dear life. He knew something that Ken was doing was suspicious! The fool his was...he ran right into his captor's trap. Ken had lead him right into an area he didn't know...as he looked around to see the scenery that was unrecognizable, surrounding him. He felt like he was running in circles around the same place. Damn that Ken...Daisuke knew that he was doomed forever by the cruel soul.
He should have expected as much from a genius.
And in all the time that was spent thinking about this, Daisuke had failed to notice the figure making it's way behind him. He only felt it all but too late.
"Ken-!"
The boy tackled him. Games like these were so easy if you knew the basic rules. Daisuke had lost, and to his awkward dismay, Ken kissed his nose affectionately causing the majority of his blood to flow right to his cheeks.
"Tag, you're it."
Daisuke groaned. It was so hard not to lose in doing the dishes when you were against your boyfriend...
-End-
