A/N: I thought of what might be runing though John's head after he disobeyed that order and continued on his way to Atlantis. This is what i came up with.
Never A Question

It was never a question,
I knew what was right,
I do what I believe.
I believe in this.
I knew what it meant,
I knew what I was doing,
It was never a question,
I didn't have a choice,
I had to do this.
This was my choice;
Just like last time,
It was never a question,
It was always going to happen,
I went against them,
I did what was right.
I knew I would die,
It was never a question,
But it was my choice,
It was right.
I hate what I have done,
I knew it would take others.
It was never a question,
But it was right,
And they knew it,
Just like I did.
It was never a question,
What we would do for this city.
It was our life,
Our choice,
We know it was right,
And it will never
Be a question.
