It was right after the battle of the Labyrinth, and most of the camp was sitting around the campfire moodily.
Clarisse polished her spear, while staring at the ground, and for once, she was at a loss for words. The war had officially begun.
Chris sat next to her, gently rubbing circles on his girlfriends back, trying to relieve the tension.
Across the fire pit, Silena leaned against Beckendorf's broad chest, fighting back tears.
Even Travis and Connor Stoll weren't fooling around. They, along with the rest of the campers, were in shock from the battle.
"Hey," Grover said wearily. "Where's Annabeth and Percy?"
Katie glanced up from her flowers. "Annabeth was seeing Percy off."
"Ohhh! They have been gone for a while though," Silena perked up. "Do you think they finally got together?"
A chorus of "probably" and "it's about time" sounded around the camp, echoing of the climbing wall.
"I'm surprised it took this long," Juniper said, smiling softly.
But just then they heard the sound of shouting, and looked up at Half Blood Hill.
They could just make out two figures, a blonde haired girl, along with a dark haired boy, whose green eyes you could see even from this distance, having a yelling match, right under the giant pine tree.
"Uh-Oh," Katie said. "That cannot be good".
They watched in horror, as Annabeth stormed down the hill, leaving Percy staring after her. When Annabeth didn't look back, he slumped his shoulders in defeat, and climbed into the van.
Only then, did Annabeth turn her head, to stare at the son of Poseidon, but it was to late, the van was pulling away, there would be know chance for Percy to see that she still cared.
Beckendorf shook his head. "So much for them finally getting together".
Connor scowled. "The only thing they would fight that hard about is…Luke".
At his words, everyone shivered, as they felt the cold air settle around them.
Everybody fell silent, when Annabeth came with in earshot. She angrily wiped a tear from her cheek, as she stormed passed.
"Annabeth," Grover got up the courage to confront her. "What happened"?
The girl in question sharply turned her head, an glared at the satyr.
"He's so stupid, and so oblivious, and I hate him for it!" Annabeth then, stomped into her cabin, leaving everyone present for her little outburst shocked.
"I think I know what this is about, guys," Silena said, breaking the silence.
"Well then please enlighten us!" Travis called out.
"Calypso, Luke, and the mortal, Rachel". Silena replied, rolling her eyes. "Duh".
The campers nodded, and agreements went around the circle.
"Makes sense," Katie sighed.
"I didn't know Percy went to Calypso's island". Juniper mused.
"That's where he was those two weeks," Clarisse informed her.
"Thoses two weeks when Annabeth drove everyone crazy from her sobbing?" Travis asked.
Silena nodded.
"They are so in love". Beckendorf commented.
Slowly the campers dispersed, all leaving with the same thought circling their mind:
Annabeth and Percy were one, complicated, emotional story. But they were defiantly a love story. And every one but themselves knew it.
Fin.
A/N: Please let me know what you think of it! I would also like to know if you have any ideas for stories you want? Thanks so much!
