Back to the Beginning: Prologue
They survivors of the destruction of Sunnydale filled back on to the bus. The Crater that was once the Hellmouth was behind them and the many bodies buried beneath it, Anya, Amanda…Spike. Where they went from here no one knew.
But there were thousands of Slayers now and they had to be found, trained and sent into the world. Faith had to find a way to get of the America's Most Wanted list. As the last Newly Chosen Slayer walked onto the School Bus, Buffy looked back at the Crater thinking of Spike, the second Vampire with a soul she had loved. Suddenly a bright blue light appeared around the bus. Buffy turned to Willow and asked desperately "What was that?"
"I've got no idea" came the panicked reply.
"I do." Came a southern accented voice from the back of the bus
Everyone turned their heads sharply towards Caleb, or rather The First in Caleb's form.
"Ohhhh, so you thought you little Hellmouth D-Day would take me down? Make me dormant? Nice dream while it lasted wasn't it? But still, I'll admit that you took out my Army and I didn't have a back up one, so I won't be causing an Apocalypse any time soon. But who said I can't have revenge? I'm sending you out of my hair, Back to Where it all began, not for me, for you" It said turning to Buffy
"Shut up" she said
Ignoring her The First went on saying "You're going back before Darkness." As It said this it walked towards Willow and changed into the form of Warren with strips of skin flying of into nothingness. Willow let out a small gasp. Kennedy just had a shocked look on her face.
"You're heading back before the Dawn of" The First morphed from Warren to Glory "Glory"
It walked over to Dawn and smirked.
It morphed into Adam "Before, anyone but the slayer had and Initiative"
It morphed into the Mayor and walked over to Faith "Before I went out with a big bang"
It changed into Angelus and said "Before the Vortex, and the rise of Acathla"
It changed into The Master "You're going back to my time! When it was just you 4" It pointed at Giles, Buffy, Willow and Xander. "You're going back to the Beginning!" It disappeared in a flash of White Light and the blue light around the bus grew brighter and then disappeared. Out the back window Buffy could see a sign that read:
