Hello! This fanfiction was written ages ago but I've only just typed it up :] This is a Weasley family party at Christmas. For some reason the DJ is a muggle. I don't know why but he is. :] oh yeah! It was inspired a little bit by the song Young hearts :] enjoy and please review!
"Come on Percy!" The twins said pulling their reluctant brother to his feet.
"No. I don't want to, you can't make me" he protested yanking his arm away from their grip.
"Don't be boring!!" Fred and George moaned theatrically herding Percy towards the small stage. Percy looked over their heads, ignoring them as they danced madly around him. Before he realised it he was standing in the middle of the stage. His family looked back at him, the sober ones surprised, the drunken ones pleased of new entertainment.
"What do you want to sing?" asked the muggle DJ at the karaoke machine
"Er. What?" asked Percy panicking
"what. Song." The DJ said louder and slower.
"Oh, no, I don't wa-" Percy was interrupted by George shoving a microphone in his hand while Fred told the man what song to play.
"OK, you ready?" the DJ asked from his machine as the twins tip-toed off the stage. The music started up. Percy looked around, finding his family gazing back he realised nobody was going to help him out of this. He looked resigned at the screen as the words appeared.
"What's the sense in sharing
This one and only life,
Ending up just another lost and lonely wife" Percy sang tonelessly. The song went on and Percy began to bob up and down in time to the music.
"When you just can't break away
OH! Young hearts, run free
Never be hung up, hung up like my man and meee!" Percy warbled
Fred and George sniggered as they pointed their wands at the karaoke machine. The song began to speed up. Percy stumbled over the words as he tried to keep up. The DJ looked bewildered at his machine and hit it in desperation to cease the music.
The twins laughed harder until they heard someone step up behind them and a shadow of a small wavy haired woman fell over them.
