Two faced truth:

As Percy was about to sleep to the sounds of soothing waves in his room, an iris message came. Percy got up instantly, frightened. He picked up Riptide and slowly walked to the iris. When he received the call he saw it was from Olympus. Hades was talking to Zeus and Percy's father Poseidon. That means it would be something serious. So Percy listened vigilantly. The great sea god was in anguish. Zeus was whispering: "How can we tell Perseus Jackson? He would be crushed! We cannot afford to lose another demi-god, and a good one like Perseus!" Percy thought "What could shock him that bad?" Then Poseidon whispered: "How will we tell him that, that his…." The iris message had ended. But Percy's doubts hadn't. " What would the Olympians have wanted to tell him?" He went to his bed, and frantically searched for a drachma. After he found one he lightly tossed it into the water and the elegant iris goddess came out. She asked that whom did he want to see and he said that he wanted to see Olympus. Suddenly he heard the familiar voices of Zeus and Poseidon. "Sally… Sally…." Poseidon said with water in his eyes. Sally was Percy's mother. Percy was intimated. "Sally Jackson is dead…" Zeus said with a crestfallen tone. Slowly the picture started fading… and so did Percy's beliefs. Percy fell to his knees, and grieved with his head buried in his hands. "Go back to sleep" he told himself. "Find someone to help you deal with this tomorrow." He said "Anna Beth!"

He slowly walked to his bed and fell on top. He couldn't sleep. He looked up to the waves in his room smelled the salt in his room, and heard the ripples in his room. These soothing and familiar sounds put Percy into the hands of Morpheus (Morpheus is the god of sleep.) When he woke up he recollected the memories of what had happened the night before. It was the reality. And he couldn't change it. In breakfast he went and sat on Anna Beth's table. Everyone stared at him since he wasn't Athena's child but was sitting on her table. But he didn't care. His mother had perished. " Hey seaweed brain I am sorry for you but you has really proven that you are a seaweed brain!" Anna Beth exclaimed. "Why didn't you iris message Underworld? The only way you will know the truth is if you iris message underworld!" Percy replied " Oh I knew I made the right to talk to you Anna Beth! Oh your so great I love you!" More eyes faced Percy. He blushed. " Hush… Thanks Anna Beth!" Percy covered up. " Please put in a drachma," said the Iris messenger. Percy tossed one golden coin and watched it carefully. It was like his life. Twisting and turning on every point… "Who would you like to message?" Iris asked. " Um the underworld." Percy Replied. Suddenly Percy's room was filled with shadows of the underworld. The room was suddenly filled with fiendish laughter. "They don't know… but I know… Ha… My brothers don't know but I know! Excellent!" Hades exclaimed. " They don't know what?" Percy wondered. " They don't know. That… ha… that sally Jackson. Sally…" Hades stuttered. "Sally what finish the sentence you fool!" Percy screamed. " Sally Jackson is alive," Hades fiendishly laughed. " Mom's alive?" Percy wondered. What else was this world hiding from him? And the biggest question was: what else was Hades hiding from The Olympians?
