Disclaimers
1. I am not Shannon Messenger. I am not pretending to be Shannon Messenger. This fanfic is not an early release or first draft of KEEPER Book #7. I acknowledge that KEEPER is entirely Shannon's, and I am not trying to take credit for her work.
2. I know nothing more about Book #7 than your average devoted fan would. None of the plot points in Legacy are confirmed to occur in Book #7. This fanfic comes from a cobbled-together mixture of fan theories, publicly released hints from Shannon, and my own imagination. This does mean that some theories present in Legacy did not originate directly from my brain. If you notice your theory in my fic and would like credit, I would be happy to credit you.
3. This fic is not in the same universe as my Nightfall fanfic. The only material that Legacy is building off of is KEEPER Books 1-6. And some select fanon as well. This means Tam is alive, Nightfall is a place, Amy is in the Forbidden Cities, etc.
4. The ships in Legacy do not necessarily reflect my own personal opinion on ships. Some—perhaps many—of these ships may leave you dissatisfied. None of the ships in the fanfic are meant to attack anyone's personal opinion on ships. Please try not to feel personally offended if your ship is not present or is shot down in Legacy.
Rules
1. Any reviews accusing me of pretending to be Shannon, or asking if this is the real Book #7 and/or if I am Shannon, will be deleted as they show that the reviewer has not taken the time to read the disclaimers. If the reviewer is not on guest, they will receive one warning before being blocked.
2. Any spam or chain mail reviews will be deleted. If the reviewer is not on guest, they will receive one warning before being blocked.
3. Any reviews whose sole purpose is to promote a ship will be considered spam and deleted. These are reviews where the entire review is "FOSTER KEEF 4EVA" or that say "SOPHITZ" thirty-four times. You know what I'm talking about. You've seen those comments all over Instagram and the wiki. *shudders*
4. Any reviews asking me to make a ship canon will not be taken into account when determining the endgame ships. In fact, they will be largely ignored.
5. Any questions about the story that are reviewed on guest will not be answered. If you want a question answered, it costs zero dollars and takes five minutes to get a FanFiction account or, I don't know, just send me an ask on Tumblr. You don't need an account to do that. I do have links on my profile page…
6. Any reviews that include language that disrespects and/or marginalizes a group of people will be deleted, and if the reviewer is not on guest, they will receive one warning before being blocked and reported. This language includes but is not limited to a) slurs of any kind, b) the misuse of terms such as "OCD" and "bipolar", and c) equating seeing something that is mildly annoying to being triggered.
7. Any reviews flaming or harassing me, the story, Shannon Messenger, the KEEPER canon, any KEEPER ships, and/or other members of the fandom (regardless if they are on FanFiction or not) will be deleted, and if the reviewer is not on guest, they will be blocked and reported without a warning.
8. There will be no exceptions to any of these rules. My reasoning for this? If you can read a fanfic, you can read the damn rules. I really do hope that people actually follow these rules this time, but of course they're not and I'm going to get five reviews a day that say "Ur a fake ur not Shannon :(((((". Sigh. And with that, please enjoy Legacy and don't be that person whose rule-breaking review gets angrily screenshotted and made fun of on Discord.
