~*Klingon songs they speak of honor and strength*~

~*They teach of love and courage*~

~*They come from the heart*~

~*And originate in the heath of battle*~

~*I thought they spoke the truth*~

~*I believed their words*~

~*And my heart would soar with his*~

~*When he sang of never ending love*~

~*And courageous battles of the heart*~

~*Now I know the truth*~

~*That the songs are no more real than make believe*~

~*My heart, once throbbing with love*~

~*Is now as broken as shattered glass*~

~*I should've known better*~

~*I should've been prepared*~

~*I should have kept my distance*~

~*And not fallen for the songs he shared*~

~*A broken heart is not easy to overcome*~

~*And it's something I've lived before*~

~*Love has proven not to be my cup up tea*~

~*Unlike the songs led me to believe*~

~*And now that all is said and done*~

~*I'm back here,*~
