Doctor who drabble
The Doctor vs. a cliff
"Lovely Doctor, well done! It's a nice rockface! And just how are we meant to get out?" Amy sighed. Rory moved to the door.
"She's got a point, Doctor. Not even a mouse could get through that…" Rory trailed off as the Doctor produced a robot mouse and drove it through the gap.
"I stand corrected." stated Rory backing away with his hands held up.
"Well let's see if a Timelord can fit through; Doctor?" Amy asked sweetly. The Doctor bound down from the console and pushed past Rory. And promptly hit his head on the cliff.
"Ow! I thought it was further away than that." the Doctor scowled. "Naughty cliff!" The Doctor said sternly, to the cliff. He harrumphed and walked back to the console. Flicking switches a seemingly random. Suddenly a wheel popped out from under the console.
"Oh. That would have saved a lot of time." said the Doctor sheepishly.
"What is it?" asked Amy as she leant against the railings.
"I do believe it is a steering wheel. Yep, it's a steering wheel." answered the Doctor looking very smug.
"Right. You do know how to fly this thing yeah?" asked Rory tentatively.
"Nope. Not a clue. Failed my driving test." The Doctor's smug smile slipped slightly
"Just turn this box round." Ordered Amy. "I'm bored of you two arguing."
"I wasn't arguing. I was worried for our safety." retorted Rory.
"We're traveling through space and time with a madman in a blue box that is bigger on the inside. How safe do you think we are? Right I thought so." Stated Amy
"I've been driving this TARDIS for over five hundred years and I've only crashed one thousand and twenty three times." whined the Doctor, spinning the wheel hard. The TARDIS lurched and spun a few times before shuddering to a halt. "Or is that flying. I can never tell."
"One thousand and twenty times!" exclaimed Rory turning slowly whiter. Amy opened the doors again.
"One thousand and twenty three. give or take a few." The Doctor answered.
"Doctor! You were only meant to spin it half way!" Amy yelled to him. The Doctor spun the wheel again but slowly this time. The doors slowly revolved until they showed a grey dull planet with no plant form and only ten metres before the sea.
Standing in the middle of the stretch was River, smirk etched onto her face.
