This is my first crossover fic, I hope you like it! (hunger games and fablehaven) I'm not good with capitalisation so bear with me.
Disclaimer- Brandon Mull owns the Fablehaven series and Suzanne Collins owns the Hunger games series, I don't.
"What?! Stanley Sorenson, why in the world would you do something like this!?" yelled Grandma Sorenson.
"I-I-I-I-I didn't choose to, i was forced, they threatened to destroy Fablehaven and open Zyzx." said Grandpa Sorenson.
"So all of us under the age of 35 will be put into this, this Hunger Games? This fight to the death?" asked Vanessa.
"Sadly, yes."
"Of all the people i can think of to be tributes they're isn't enough for 24." said Seth, counting on his fingers.
"Yes, well the capitol has found out a way to bring a couple of our old 'friends' back. The tributes from each 'district' will either be one Panem citizen, and one person from here or two people from here. Tomorrow i will get the list of tributes in the mail. Around 3:00 tomorow we will be taken to Panem"
"Now, i know this is alot of really overwhelming information for one night, so go get a good night's sleep and tomorrow we'll go to Panem" said Ruth and everyone went to their bedrooms, scared and agitated for the next day.
-Next Day-
"Kendra! Kendra! Kendra!" yelled Seth, trying to wake up his sister.
"What do you want Seth?" Kendra groaned
"Grandpa has the list, the list of tributes!" Seth yelled fearful/excitedly as Kendra jumped up and they both ran downstairs to the kitchen, where everyone was waiting.
"here, you should read it, we're all too scared." said Stan as he passed a red piece of paper to Kendra.
"The tributes for the 74th annual Hunger Games, with a twist." She read aloud. "District 1- Glimmer Barla and Bracken.
District 2- Cato Taren and Vanessa Santoro.
District 3- Seth Sorenson and Torina Barker.
District 4- Lena Burgess and Berrigan.
District 5- Jaquline this girl looks like a fox" Kendra said gestering to the picture on the paper, "and" she gasped "Gavin Rose.
District 6- Briah, "this time it was Bracken who gasped.
"My youngest sister! NO!" he exclamed, choking back tears "Go on, i'm fine"
" and Dale Burgess.
District 7- Kendra Sorernson and Aaron Stone.
District 8-Camira and Vincent.
District 9-Tanuagotoa Dufu and Elise.
District 10- Sphinx and Mara Taberes.
District 11- Rue and Trask.
District 12- Katniss Everdeen and Warren Burgess." she finished, ripping the paper in half and throwing it into the living room fire and everyone watched it crumple, burn, and turn into ashes.
"Well, it's noon, so we might want to have lunch and a nap before we have to go." said Ruth as she got up and went into the kitchen, everyone following suit.
