"Are we entirely sure it's normal, terrestrial snow?" Ianto asked, hooded head ducked against the stingingly cold air filled with fluffy flakes. "Cardiff nearly never gets this sort of weather. It's not natural."

"Oh yeah, definitely!" Jack exclaimed cheerfully.

"What are you so excited about?" Ianto grumbled. "Aren't you supposed to be from a desert climate?"

Jack chuckled, hurrying along beside Ianto, his hair getting dotted with snowflakes. "Yes. One I left nearly… uh, well, a long time ago. I've experienced a lot of other climates since then. All have their own advantages and their own drawbacks."

"Well, I can't see any bloody advantage to this stuff," Ianto said, hurrying to open the street door and all but pulling Jack in with him. He threw his snowy hood back and unzipped his coat as they headed up to Ianto's flat.

As soon as Ianto had his shoes appropriately placed on the rack and his coat hung on the hook, Jack wrapped his arms around Ianto's waist and pulled him in close. He kissed Ianto's cheeks and the tip of his nose. "The advantage is your cheeks and nose getting all rosy," Jack grinned. "And me getting to warm you up!"
