Authors Note: I wrote this in five minutes in English in our 'English Journals' with the prompt of anything that grabs your attention, use descriptive language. I still con not decide if my inspiration was a pen or a letter. Here it is. My teacher seemed to like the non fanfiction version which excluded the last three sentences. Hope you do to.

The tip glided across the paper, staining it black with the ink. Words formed elegantly across the yellowed paper, integrate patterns formed in neat lines.
A love letter, it read; "To My Dearest Love".
Long strands of blonde hair fell onto the paper -so absorbed in the formation of each beautifully crafted word- the young woman did not notice. Never faltering, she wrote an endless letter, frowning when ink dripped from the tip of her fountain pen onto the edges of the letter. But she never faltered in the writing of her emotions, love, and heartache.
The page was soon exchanged for another only minutes into the writing, the previous full of heartfelt words. With a quick inspection, the paper began to fill with words again l, pale hands moving slowly, deliberately with each word written, moving like an artist hands, when they first began a master piece.
A mistake makes her stop... With a heavy sigh she replaced the paper, rewriting even more slowly, she fixed her mistake. The hands moved faster as she reached the end of her letter. A quick, " Yours Truly", and her name and she inspects the two yellowing pieces of parchment fondly. Smiling broadly she presses a kiss to the letter before gently tucking it info a envelope.
She would never send the letter but at least she got out the things she always wanted to say. She opened her locked desk drawer; placing the letter within it carefully. Before standing she locked the drawer. Leaving the room and her long time -dark haired, tanned skin- love, she joined her -red haired, freckled covered- husband and child to play.
