She walks alone in the dark alley, looking for trouble. Her job is to protect. But who protects her?
The only thing she trusts is the stake she wields. As she jabs it through a vampire's chest, its tip becomes infested with gray ash. She blows the dust away, watching the particles drift silently onto the ground.
After a heavy sigh she continues walking, not knowing where she's going. Maybe she'll find a guy to get lucky with tonight. A beer would be nice. But she's only sure of one thing – those vamps better watch out, because Faith is coming.
