As I struggled to force air through my lungs I thought of the day when I first met Edward and how similar this moment was to that day. Only instead of him saving my life like he did decades ago he was now taking it away.

"What happened to us Edward." I asked, desperately trying to ignore the mortal girl that he held in his arms.

He turned his gaze away from me. "Their never was an us Elizabeth"

I felt my chest tighten at his words, as well as my un-beating heart. "That's not true." I choked. My vision became blurry with tears as I desperately searched for his eyes.

Look at me..

His eyes stayed averted.

Look at me Edward!!

"It's all her fault!!" I screamed at him "She did this to me! If she never existed I could of had you! You would be mine!!" My Ruby eyes brimmed over with tears as I glared Hatefully at the girl in his arms.

"Please Edward, don't do this to me! I love you! more than she ever will! She won't live forever and she'll grow old in a matter of years!" with every word that passed my voice went an octave higher until it hurt to talk passed the lump that formed in my throat.

"Edward!!" Suddenly I felt two strong arms wrap around me and press me tightly to their chest. "Hush now Elizabeth." Edward whispered into my ear. "It'll be Okay." I felt my aching body relax against his in an instant.

"Your wrong about Bella."

Hearing her name made all the pain return.

"Edward She-"

"I love her with all my heart Elizabeth, understand that please."

I swallowed the venomous words that threatened to escape my lips. I knew what he was talking about and how he felt. It was exactly that same way I felt for him.

"I do." I whispered into his chest.

I allowed my eyes to close as I inhaled his scent along with the sent of my blood.

"This is just like how we met.. Remember?"

"Shh Just relax and close your eyes, It'll all be over soon."

"You held me just like this and stayed with me until my turning was complete, Never once did you let go of me."

I stared longing into his golden eyes hoping for a response. Only to be greeted by silence.

"Edward?"

"Yes?"

"I love you.."

Edwards fingers skimmed lightly over my throat stopping when they reached my jugular

"I know." he whispered.

Before I could say anything else his fingers stabbed themselves into my throat and I was washed away in darkness forever.
