Hugo Weasley stood up nervously. It was his first duelling lesson, he was thirteen years old and had no experience. Unlike Aaron Crawley. He had been duelling since he was seven, or so he said and he was good at shield charms. Hugo much preferred Herbology or even charms. It was those subjects he was better at. Defense Against the Dark Arts wasn't his area. Nethertheless he drew his wand and faced Aaron bravely. He heard the defense teacher ask them to start from behind him. Aaron sneered at him. Hugo glared back. He may be shy, but he was certainly Ron's son, he didn't just let people insult him and he knew a massive array of swear words. He ducked an expelliarmus and threw a stupefy back, he shielded another stupefy and so it continued, the pair ducking and weaving and shielding themselves from major pain although Aaron scraped his elbow and Hugo stubbed his toe. Only then Hugo wasn't looking, he didn't see Aaron cast a final stupefy at him. He flew backwards and hit the wall and landed on his left arm. Hugo wanted to say so much but he knew most of it would get him in serious trouble, not only from the school but from his mum as well. He settled for a very loud. "Bloody Hell!" And then tried to hold back the tears. His friends ran over, his cousin Lily amongst them. "Are you okay Hugo?" She asked concerned. He shook his head and didn't want to talk, the tears would spill over if her did and forever seal his fate as a crybaby and he didn't want to give Aaron Crawley the satisfaction of seeing him cry. The teacher came in and helped Lily take him to the hospital wing, careful not to touch his left arm. When he got there Madam Pomfrey came in tutting. "You Weasley and Potters are all the same. Always hurting yourselves. What was it this time?" Hugo told her and she nodded. "Ah, yes I know the Crawley boy. He's in here quite lot, the clumsy child." She gave him a Bone Repair potion and left him and Lily to talk "But only quietly, I have other patients you know!"

"Lily, why do I always let Aaron get to me?" Hugo sighed. Lily shrugged and looked out the window. "I don't know, I suppose it's because he knows you too well and knows what annoys you the most. Anyway you did great in the duel today and guess who was totally cheering you on?" Hugo sat bolt upright, his throbbing arm forgotten in the excitement. "Who was it Lils? Who was cheering me on? Tell me!" Hugo pleaded.

Lily smirked. "Well, you know that girl with the long pale brown hair and she's quite small? I think her names Selene Evans or Chris Brown or something? She was cheering you on Hugo. I think she has a crush on you."
Hugo blushed. "Uh…. Gryffindor right?" Lily nodded. "Wow… Chris Brown…. I totally didn't expect that…" He grinned. Hopefully he could ask her to Hogsmeade and she would say yes. Lily looked at him and started laughing. "Hugo, your arm got broken by Crawley and you're thinking about Chris Brown cheering you on?" She hugged him. "Seriously, that's why you're my favourite cousin."
