A/N HI GUYS! I'm finally free from exams! I can get back to writing without me mam shouting at me! Hell to the yeaaah! I'm very sorry I haven't done anything on here, but I was literally just looking at all my emails (I had almost 2,000 to look through) and I saw ones from here and it made me all happy and stuff :3 so I thought I'd write another story! I love thinking of the team as a family so I thought I'd do a family story, since we're all like a family in this fandom! I hope you like it, it's totally random and like I don't know haha! Bear with me, I'm still learning. :P

Disclaimer: I own nothing. But I still have my plant called McGee (he's doing very well)

Whenever Ziva felt like relaxing or thinking, she would take a drive. It could last minutes or hours, but it was her favourite thing. McGee and Tony might find her driving crazy, but at times like these, it was the only thing that could stop her from having some sort of breakdown.

She always got like this on the anniversary of Talis death. She was so pure; she loved Ziva no matter what. But now, without her, she didn't know where she belonged. Of course, she loved her job and the team, but every once in a while she was reminded that she was alone.

She'd had enough of being alone though. This was it. She was doing something about it. She would do whatever it would take. Maybe if she would stop pushing people out, she wouldn't be in this mess!

By this point, she'd returned home. It was about 6pm; she had taken a very quick drive today. Looking at the clock, she got out her phone and rang the team. She couldn't help but chuckle at their worried voices when she had first rang; she wasn't normally one for much communication out of the office. But they all seemed happy when she revealed her plans. It had been a while since she had last invited them over for one of her famous dinner parties.

10pm

With it being 'a school night' as Abby would say, the team hadn't stayed long. But that didn't mean they didn't have a good time. They had all been there; Tony, McGee, Abby, even Gibbs, Ducky and Jimmy. They'd been gifted with a new culinary speciality Ziva had been working on for quite a while, and by the empty dishes in her kitchen, they had most certainly enjoyed it. Ziva was still laughing at the events of earlier that night, it was good to have gotten together with the team; they had all forgotten how much they enjoyed each other's company outside of work.

Picking up a glass of wine, Ziva made her way to the sofa. Tired, she knew she should have been in bed by now, but she was too happy to sleep. To think she had doubted herself and her team for one minute. She knew where she belonged; in fact, she knew it all along. It just took a quiet (or not so quiet, thanks to Tony) night with the team, no, the family, to realise. She belonged here, with them.

A/N No idea how I feel about this. I kinda like the idea but don't think I managed to write it well enough. Ah well, hope yous get the gist of it. Sort of linked to The Wanted's song Where I Belong. Like some lines I thought I could use for this. If you could please review, that would be amazing! I need all the help I can get!
