Pancakes ((RxC))
"Chrono…"
The violet haired male snapped awake at his name and looked over beside him to see his blonde partner smiling at him, clad in a baby blue one piece bathing suit with matching blue and white board shorts.
"Mmm… Rosette….why do you look like you're ready for the beach?" he muttered sleepily, rolling over onto his stomach underneath the sleek white sheets on his bed.
Rosette glared angrily at Chrono, her delicate female hands resting firmly on her curved hips.
He forgot?! How dare he! He promised me that we were going to take Joshua and Azmaria to the beach to play and he's laying in bed?! Oooohhh…oh well, I can deal with this
Rosette smiled slyly and crawled onto the bed next to Chrono. "C'mon…if you get up, I'll make yer favourite…." Rosette teased, hoping it would get the lazy butt outta bed.
Chrono smirked against the pillows. He knew what she was doing and he'd go to hell again and back before he'd lose to her.
"Which is what?" he asked, the question a bit muffled by the pillows.
Rosette paused, trying to think. What was his favourite?
Rice? No, Father Remington likes that. Tomato soup? Nah, that's Anna's. Pork? Wait a minute, that's my favourite! Grr… what is it? Aahhh… I knew I shoulda checked with Elder before asking.
While Rosette was pondering this, Chrono let out a small, unaudible laugh.
Heh. She doesn't know that my favourite is her homemade pancakes. Man, she's dense.
Finally, after much hard thought, Rosette sighed heavily in defeat. "Alright, I give up. I don't know what your favourite is. But, you forgot something too" Rosette said mockingly.
Chrono sat up, looking at Rosette confused.
"I did?"
Rosette nodded, a smile on her face.
"Remember? The beach? Joshua, me, you, Azmaria? Swimming?"
Chrono looked at her, the memories of yesterday coming flooding back to him.
"Ah, applesauce! I forgot that we were taking Joshua and Azmaria swimming today…" he lept outta bed in a flash, running around the room hurriedly, trying to find his swim trunks "…sorry…"
Rosette, who had broken into laughter, calmed herself and smiled "It's okay".
She grabbed Chrono's wrist and yanked him back to the bed. Chrono flopped onto it, confused that Rosette was now laying spread eagle on top of him, fingering his violet locks and grinning.
"By the way, what is your favourite food?"
Chrono smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Your homemade pancakes of course"
