Hermione sighed. "Harry...whether you like it or not, you are the most respectable wizard around. Do you think anyone's going to accept Scrimogeur giving Snape a medal? He didn't even help."
"That's not my problem!"
As they continued arguing, the black cloaked figure who was listening at the door sat down wearily on the stone, right beside that half-Kneazle of Hermione's.
"I suggest we wait it out, Crooks," Severus said, petting its fur.
