Summary:

The title say's it all! It's just one of those days at the Hospital that we don't quite see everyday.

"Another Day At The Hospital"

At an unusually boring day at Plainsboro-Princeton Teaching Hospital, House and his ducklings sit at the lounge sipping coke and…coke, the ducklings are pretty much occupied discussing various topics that range from orange-colored men to everyday household appliances. While House, with legs propped up on a chair, reads a magazine.

"Okay, now what's the most worthless appliance you ever had?" Chase asked after a long pause of the group's earlier conversation… or much likely debate about the orange man… or much likely if the man's wife has had an affair, as was clearly stated by House after much prying by Cameron.

" I would say my toaster is my worthless appliance. I never get to make much toast since I have no time to," Cameron says which gains a snicker from Foreman and an almost inaudible " or just lazy to…" comment by House who's face is covered by the recent Entertainment Magazine.

" My guess would be my surround sound stereo…" Foreman openly states

" No way, how could surround sound be worthless?" Chase cuts

" Well, you know… I never did…." Foreman again is stopped as House butts in, peeking through the magazine. " Blah, blah, blah. Get to the point. You're never there to use it right? But then again, how'd you get that nice piece of equipment seeing that you never really do your job unless I tell you too?"

Before Foreman could utter an excuse, the hiding-in-the-sidelines Cuddy retorts back to the smug look plastered on House's face. " It's because he works with you." Knowing that Cuddy had outdone him this time, House just leans back into his chair and resumes reading the magazine, thinking that Cuddy would leave any minute now. " Nice. "

But Cuddy had stayed. " You can go now, you know." House said without moving an inch from his current position. "Leave me in peace so I may forever rest until the next case that you throw at my face."

" Well, get up big boy. I got a case for you." Cuddy steps into the lounge and hands House the papers. House hesitantly accepted the folder in his face and took a quick look a it. " Stomach pain. A bottle of Tums… and he's good to go!" House handed Cuddy the folder back.

" We told him that already… but he wouldn't leave." Cuddy replies, shoving the folder back to House.

" Have you tried Security?"

" Of course…"

"Then what seems to be the problem?"

" He asked for a doctor"

" Ah. It's good to know that somebody else notices the lack of skills…"

"House!"

"Yes, mother?"

Chase, Cameron, and Foreman watched the exchange between House and Cuddy as though they were watching one of House's soaps. The conversation was so intense and filled with sarcasm that a few other doctors who passed by the lounge would stop and listen for a while.

" Look at them, they're bickering like an old married couple." Chase whispers to Foreman. "Dead-on. They do nothing but argue." Came Foreman's reply.

"Look, why don't we ditch this place and grab some coffee?" The three doctors agreed and started to file out the room leaving the two Department Heads snapping at each other, ready to cut each other's throat off.
