Author's Note: Welcome readers! This is one of my first new fanfictions, but this will probably be the only one-shot fic. Based off a thing from a chatroom. Enjoy.

Title: Aha!

Rating: T

At some point or another, something had snapped inside the Seer's mind. Maybe it was the deaths, perhaps, that caused her loss of sanity. The brunette's thoughts had grown clouded, and she was rarely able to create something even looking like a coherent thought. Of course, this happened slowly; It was on this day that she had somewhat realized that she wasn't sure what she was doing anymore. Almost-grey eyes stared down, and the girl had noticed her aspect's symbol-a gear shape-had been cut into her arms repeatedly, in different sizes all over. She didn't remember doing so, but she shrugged it off as a hallucination of sorts, from her breaking state of mind.

She didn't quite recall what happened next, but when she could figure out what she was doing, she was on the lake's edge, cutting the symbol into the dirt with the same knife-staining the ground red in places. Again, she thought these actions were from her decreasing sanity. The Seer sat the knife down, and held her head. It throbbed like a headache, but not like her normal headaches, or a too-many-timelines headache. "Uh…" She muttered, staring at her reflection in the water. She looked nothing like herself anymore; a mere shadow of the former Seer of Time, if you will. Not like she noticed; she simply shrugged and slowly got to her feet. In doing so, and because she had grown to be not maybe the most careful person, she had dropped her knife-something she paid no mind to. She slowly turned her head, to survey the surroundings. After doing this, it was like a mental black-out; She knew she was moving, but couldn't tell you what she was doing.

The next time she mentally "awoke" in a sense, she was… in a tree? No, not a tree, just on the ground, on top of a branch. She groaned slightly and sat up, feeling a little less cloudy at this point. However, she felt something was amiss. Her arms were covered in dried blood, causing Jackie to cringe. When she started to rub at her arms, she felt no scars. Odd, she thought, before glancing around to get her bearings. And then, she saw.

Of course, it took the brunette a few minutes to realize who it was. But when she did, everything came rushing back.

Cutting symbols into her arms, then his.

The sounds of yelling, pleading.

The emptiness of her own words.

Jackie felt sick, and turned her head. She… she wasn't any better than he was now. Not at all. She stood, but felt wobbly. Tears burned at the edges of her eyes. But she didn't speak. Slowly, she fell back to her knees, and cried.

She didn't leave the forest for hours.
