Author's Note: A suggestive one shot! I'd love to hear your opinions. I believe the more compact it is, the tighter the impact. People forget the simple elegance of a short fic.

Heero landed with his feet square under him, stiff as a board, sturdy as cement foundation on solid unturned earth. Perfect.

"-Not even human." Duo added, his face flushed cherry from holding his breathe tightly in his lungs. When did he agree to this? Oh yeah, he didn't, he was volunteered. Then why the hell did he go along with it? "Yeah, why did I go along with it!?"

Wufei looked at him, choosing not to encourage Duo's complaints. Why did he insist on pretending he couldn't do it just as well, if not better? Couldn't he just accept that he wasn't like common adolescents? Wufei had long done such, and was a better man because of it.

A private smirk perked Trowa's lips, but it was passed off as a mild twitch of irritation, or possibly amusement. This is were he excelled, it was time to show these boys what he was made of. He was aware he was amongst equals, but what separated this brilliant green-eyed splendor from the others was his inherent aptitude for acrobatics, and his short-lived time at the circus. It also helped to be implausibly flexible with lead eagle balance.

Quatre watched Heero's faultless posture, and nodded in blunt approval. "Beautiful, Heero, nice job!" He didn't feel so strange anymore knowing he wasn't the only one with unhampered natural senses. It was nice… to be just accepted, to be you and be considered normal.

To just be you…

Author's Note: I share similar sentiments about being a fandom writer, an anime fan, or an artist. I feel like a freak, LoL, sometimes a pervert (I am depraved, to be honest, I don't want to confuse you about my true nature)… until people just like me confront me; it's so engrossing to be suddenly inhibited, connected to people with similar interests and quirks. You feel so unique, but everyone longs for a connection, well… the fandom provides that. I suggest everyone visit an anime convention and get in touch with other writers there.
