Summary: Alice and Rosalie are suffering from withdrawal symptoms after giving something up for lent.
A/N: Second part of my Lent/Easter Drabble Collection.

Withdrawal

"You know, I think I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms." Alice stated as she sat with her family at their usual lunch table. Her hand twitching slightly as she looked around the cafeteria trying desperately to distract herself somehow.
Emmett guffawed as he looked at his pixie like sister and then back at his wife Rosalie who seemed to be suffering from the same ailment as Alice was. Jasper too was laughing at the pair's over dramatic behaviour
Edward just shook his head. "It's only been one day Alice, how could you possibly be suffering from withdrawal symptoms after such a short time?" He asked, lips lifting slightly at the corners as Alice shot him a glare which held so much malice you'd think he'd ripped her favourite dress or something, "Surely you can last forty days without going shopping."
"You just wouldn't understand," Alice stated dramatically and with that she and Rosalie stood leaving three highly amused males in their wake.
"It's not like anyone's forcing them not to go shopping, it was their choice to give it up for lent," Emmett stated with a laugh as they too stood as the bell rang signalling the start of their next lesson.
If today had been anything to go by, the next forty were going to be interesting, Edward mused as he made his way to biology.
