A/N- Takes place when Jess asks Rory to go with him at the end of season 4
R: What are you
doing here?
J: I need to talk to you.
R: What are you doing here?
J: Rory please
R: Why won't you leave me alone? You won't go away!
J: Rory…
R: What do you

J: I don't know. I just wanted to see you, talk to you.
Just…
R: What?
J: Come with me
R: What?
J: Come with me
R: Where?
J: I don't know! Away!
R: Are you crazy?
J:
Probably. Do it, come with me! Don't think about it!
R: I can't do that
J: You don't think you can do it but you can, you can do whatever you want
R: It's not what I want!
J: It is I know you!
R: You don't know me!
J: We'll go to New York. We'll work we'll live together we'll be together. It's what I want, It's what you want too I know you!
R: No!
J: I wanna be with you but…
(interrupting)
R: So what if I wanna
be with you too Jess? You really think it's that easy?
J:
You know we're supposed to be together! I knew it the first time I
saw you two years ago and you know it too, I know you do!
R: I have a life Jess! Here!
J: Ignore that. Do you
want to be with me?
R: Maybe I do okay?!
(Jess looks down rather shocked, then looks back up at Rory, more calm)
J: So
R: So
J: What do we do?
R: I don't know
J: You don't want to come away? Just get away for a month or something? Your stuff is in boxes, it's perfect!
R: Well……
J: I know you're life is important to you! I was stupid to think you would just leave it all for me. Think of it as more of a vacation
R: My mom, Lane…
J: Could come visit! On me.
R: Jess…
J: I love you Rory! I
just want to be with you, even if it's only for a little while.
What do you say?
R: Um…..I guess I could, just for a little
while
(Jess smiles and hugs Rory)
J: You can trust me now. I know you couldn't before but you can now, I promise.(still hugging)
R: Sush, I love you
(Jess pulls back astonished)
J: You do?
R: Yes, I
do
J: That line is a little ahead of time, don't you think?
R: What?
J: I do, sounded like marriage or something
R: Oh, ha ha.
(Jess smiles)
R: I don't get things easily in these, situations. I'm all light headed and…..stuff
J: Wow going to Yale hasn't improved that vocab much
R: Ya well maybe I'm just too good for them
J: Prepare to get more light headed
R: Why?
J: You'll see
(Jess begins to bend down on one knee, smiling. Rory's heart races as Jess bends down half way and then gets back up)
R: Not funny!
J: If you think that was funny you'll find this down right hilarious
R: I didn't find it fun.. (Rory begins as Jess pulls her close and kisses her)
(After they finish kissing but are still holding each other)
R: My, my your comedian skills have improved
J: So has your vocabulary
R: So shall we?
J: Sure…(Jess says beginning to pull her close)
(Rory pulls away)
R: No silly hit the road!
J: You sure about
this?
R: Sure that I love you. I think that's enough
J: Are you sure you don't want to continue what we were doing? (He says in a whiney voice)
R: There will be plenty of time for that later. Let's go. (Rory says picking up a box and leaving)
(Jess picks up a box and follows her, smiling)
