PEIN'S PUNISHMENT

One-Shot
Authors Note: Just a short One-Shot on Deidara learning the hard way not to question Leader Pein.
"That's insane! How am I possibly gonna be able to do that Leader!"
"Are you questioning my orders Deidara?" Pein's cold voice spoke quietly as he narrowed his eyes at his blonde bomber.
"What? No! I just-"
"Then what are you doing Deidara?"
"I…-I…-"
"I thought as much…" Pein sighed as he closed his Rinnegan eyes. Then slowly opening them, he stared at Deidara and added calmly, almost bored, "Deidara, come here."
Deidara's face paled as the room of Akatsuki stiffened. They all knew it was idiotic to question Leader Pein's orders, but Deidara, being the newest member, hadn't quite figured that out yet. On top of that, being someone forced into this organization anyway, he didn't like taking any orders from this group. Now he would learn the hard way the consequences of his actions.
Damn it! Why did I open my mouth! He thought.
Cautiously taking a few steps toward the Akatsuki's leader, Deidara stopped in front of Pein, his eyes downcast.
"Deidara. Look at me," Pein's calm voice spoke from above.
Deidara slowly lifted his eyes to match his leader's Rinnegan ones, which at that moment activated, causing Deidara's eyes to bulge out of their sockets as he stared in petrified shock, as if some mysterious force has paralyzed him. One of the abilities Leader Pein had at his disposal was to cause internal pain that messed with your mind, soul, emotion, and body. And the pain Deidara had just experienced, silently, since he truly was temporarily paralyzed, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well, was quick but effective, and in seconds Pein ordered, "Sasori. Catch your partner." Before Sasori could say a word Deidara's limp body fell backward as Sasori caught him from behind.
Sasori looked down at his newest "brat" of a partner. His face was in complete shock as his body twitched uncontrollably.
Idiot…Learn to keep your mouth shut, he thought. The brat did have it coming though…
"Sasori. Take him to this room," Pein ordered with disinterest.
Sasori nodded as he left with a petrified bomber in his arms.
Number One Rule: Never question Leader Pein. You will regret it.
