In an abandoned house.
"At last, if I can't have them I'll have to make a new one" said a creepy voice from a strange room.
"NO PLEASE DON'T! Her life will be as miserable as ours, please put her out of her suffering before it's too late!" Yukumo screamed.
"Ahhh! Oh, it was just a dream." A small infant with long blond hair said opening her eyes to show a pair of big blue eyes.
"What was?" A gentle voice said from behind.
"AAHHH! Why am I here? Is this the place where you go and die? NOOO! I don't wanna die yet! I have so much to live for!" Yukumo cried.
"Calm down, you're not dead yet, you pasted out in the middle of the road and I brought you here." a weird looking, blond man said.
"Thanks, I guess."
"Who's there?" a pregnant woman with long, straight red hair asked.
Yukumo's eyes widened the only thing she could think of was having her as a motherly figure.
"Who's this?" Yukumo said with a curious voice.
The man bent over and said, "She's my wife, Uzumaki Kushina."
Yukumo was shocked, even though she knew that the man was the fourth hokage, Namikaze Minato, she didn't know he was married and that he was about to be a father. "Wait a minute, why are you telling only me this and not the town?"
"That is a secret," the young hokage said mysteriously, holding up his hands to emphasize his point.
"Fine, but I have one more question…umm can I live here?" Yukumo asked shyly.
The young couple looked at each other and,"Sure, why not..
"Really?!" Yukumo asked/shouted with excitement.
"Of course, after all you're very special." Minato said.
''I am? How?" Yukumo asked the fourth hokage curiously.
"You're the only one year old I know that can talk." The hokage answered, wondering how Yukumo didn't know that.
"URUSAI!! That sounded so much like an insult there." Yukumo yelled at the blondie.
After only two weeks with her new family, the baby was finally born. Unfortunately the mother died giving birth, but at the same time the Kyuubi, the nine-tailed demon, was destroying Konohana.
"NO! You can't do that to him! He's just an infant'' screamed Yukumo as tears of sadness rolled down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Yukumo, but it is the only way to save the village, but I can tell you that his name is Naruto."
As the hokage left Yukumo fell to the ground and burst with tears, even though she was only a year older than the child, she only had a few seconds with him, he was still her brother and she cared about him. After the battle the Kyuubi was sealed inside Naruto's body, Yukumo held the baby and said, in a faint voice ''NarutoI promise to protect you, and the village."
After that day, she gave Naruto to the third hokage and said, "Take care of Naruto."
Yukumo was only one when she left the Konohana, on a quest to find out what happened in her past that lead her to the village and to get stronger.
