Book One: The Stars Path
The full moon floated in the sky, shedding its ghostly light over the night. A faint breeze murmured through the leaves of four massive oak trees;
dappled light and shadows moved below on the forest ground. As a large creamy furred she-cat moved out of the darkness following with a small
tortoishell she-cat .Her green eyes glistened with compassion as starlight shined on her sleek pelt. Behind her following at her heels. A small light
brown she-cat with round amber eyes. She looked around and when she saw a huge massive tree she mewed like a small terrified kit looking for its
mother. She noticed to see how small she was compared with the size of the rock .They padded quietly into the opening. The tom looked at the rock
he padded and leaped on the rock that stood in the center of the clearing. The tom took in a deep breath and meowed to the stars "Starclan I wish
to share tongues with you". A cat padded next to the cat and whispered "Star will come" the tom opened his eyes in astonishment .The two
other cats looked at him "What happened Lilystar ,what did starclan say to you" she mewed to him .Lilystar looked at the tortoishell she-cat and
sighed."Maplepaw...Star will come" .He whispered in her ear .Maplepaw's gazed in astonishment she shook her head and looked at Lilystar.
"But ...But how" she protested at her. Lilystar looked into Maplepaw's eyes. "I don't know what it means...I'm supposed to be a leader" she
wailed to the stars hers claws gripped at the soft grass tearing it out from the forest floor. Lilystar felt a small tail on her shoulder."Don't worry
everything will work once we've settled in ".
