Prologue
Bella
It is now a few months since the Volturi confrontation. Our family is gradually coming back to normal. Edward is finally excepting Jacob. I was so happy to have my best friend and husband become good with each other.
"Charlie's coming." Alice predicted.
"Any idea on what he's going to come for?" I asked.
"That's a surprise." She said cheerfully. At least I trust her to tell me if anything bad is going to happen. In a few minutes, I heard Charlie's police car in the front poarch. He walked inside the house.
"Bella?" He called out. Renesmee ran at him happily as he came in. He merrily scooped up her in his arms. Sue had accompanied her to this visit.
"I have a news for you, Bella." He said. I waited for him to continue.
"Jade's coming to Forks for her summer break." He said. A smiled escaped my lips as I heard my dear cousin's name. Jade, Jade Wild my paternal cousin. She's my late maternal aunt's daughter. She was my childhood best friend. I still remember those moments I spent with my dear cousin. I was really mad at her for skipping my wedding.
"When is she coming?" I asked him.
"Two days later. She just called me up." Charlie said. I was really happy. I was so sure she'll love Renesmee. I couldn't wait to introduce her to my Cullen family. Emmett would get really well with her. She's sporty and outgoing like him. I was so sure the Cullens would like her. She was just like that. She was now 17 yr old. An year younger than me but don't judge her she's really smart and sassy. I always liked her and wished she was my own sister.
