Why is it watching General Hospital puts me in a Cloud mood? (insert sarcastic answer here)

Pure fluff for once in my life. I don't think I've ever done one of these before.

And I know I've been really bad with the disclaimer thing but I think everyone knows I don't own anything Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy outside the available to the general public stuff.

Irritation

To say Cloud was angry would be a gross understatement.

Riku only watched as the blonde love of his life paced around the courtyard, occasionally kicking at random pebbles. He'd never seen Cloud so livid about anything in the just over a year he'd known him. In fact, the man rarely displayed any strong emotion, sex being the main exception.

Cloud's hands were clenched in tight fists and he had paused three times now to punch at the far wall, stopping himself just short of actually hitting it. His jaw was locked and he hadn't said a word in some time. Blue eyes burned with such intensity that is was a surprise that nothing he looked at had burst into flames.

Riku had to admit, the whole thing was kind of a turn on.

He glanced at the man beside him. Leon simply stood with his arm folded casually across his chest. There was an amused smirk on his scarred face. Apparently, he found Cloud's actions humorous.

"Augh!" Cloud suddenly stomped his foot, much as Yuffie did when she was annoyed.

"It isn't that big of a deal, Cloud." Leon commented in a bored tone.

"Says you." Cloud spat back before resuming his pacing.

"Really, Cloud." Riku risked becoming the next target. "It's only for a few days."

He fixed his eyes on Riku but kept his tongue. Then he turned away. "Yeah. That's what she says but I know her. It'll be weeks before a see her again."

He whirled back toward them. "And she knew I'd say no so she totally by-passed me, and you two," he point at each of them in turn. "Just went along with it!"

"She's like one of you're best friends." Riku defended himself. "I really didn't think it was that much of a problem."

"Besides, it's not like you were planning to use it any time soon." Leon added reasonably. "What was the point of putting all that work into it if it's never going to be used?"

"I use it!" Cloud threw his hands up. "And it's not an it! It has a name!"

"Whatever. It's over, Tifa's using it and that's that." Leon dropped his arms and walked off. "Deal with it."

Cloud looked like he was seriously considering running after his best friend and beating the crap out of him. Before that could happen, Riku moved away from the ledge he was leaning on and moved over to the man. He placed himself before him and took both his hands.

Cloud relaxed a bit but was still clearly agitated.

"Come on, Cloud. You know Tifa won't let anything happen to your baby." Riku said mock sweetly.

"Yeah." Came the reluctant agreement. "It just pisses me off when she pulls shit like this."

"I know." He said soothingly. "I have an idea, why don't we go to the river and I'll let you get out some of that frustration."

Cloud's expression slowly changed. "I don't know. I'm really irritated."

"Of course you are. This is Fenrir we're talking about." Riku grinned suggestively. "Come on, I'll let you ride me instead."

Cloud rolled his eyes at the horrible line but followed Riku. It wasn't like this was an offer he could pass up no matter how angry he was.
