In the Celestial world a grand meeting has come to a decision, one to affect lives through their world and the mages. The King stands and sighs, looking to the disheartened faces of the realm, most of all the Zodiac for this is most crushing to them. "It's time, return and inform your masters and prepare. You only have a little time left now."

Loke started to protest but the King had already heard everything and didn't care to hear it twice, this was hard enough as it is.

"Loke, I know what you mean, but with the way it is, there are more who abuse spirits than don't. This cannot continue. It's time we pull the keys back."

Aquarius was mad, sure the brat annoyed her but she didn't want to leave, her hands clenched, "But Lucy-" Scorpio put a hand on her shoulder and she looked at him, his eyes were sad.

She looked at the ground and softly mumbled, "Lucy made it so that I could be with Scorpio…"
Capricorn nodded, "She saved me from a wretched man."

Loke clenched his fists and stared at the ground the memory felt distant but fresh, "She saved me, I would have died if it wasn't for her."

The King stroked his beard, "She has proven herself, but that will not-" the King was shocked to be cut off by someone.

Loke snarled, "But Lucy.."

"Enough!" The King's face was hard but his eyes betrayed the hurt he hid. He too was sad of the loss of the first human he didn't mind having around.

Turning he comes face to face with more than half the Zodiac, mixed emotions on their faces. Loke speaks first, "King, please reconsider, Lucy has been working almost non-stop to prevent recent events but she can't be in more than one place at a time."

The King shakes his head, "That isn't the issue old friend, you are lucky that you have your master and that she is who she is, but what of the others who suffer daily. Remember back to Karin, what you had to go through each day the sun rose in their world."

Aquarius stepped next to Loke with a hand on his shoulder, "He's right and normally I wouldn't agree with him but Loke, look around at the other spirits, the ones who look withered and tired each day."

Loke sighed, "I know...but Lucy."

Capricorn nodded, "She is strong though and she has her guild. I do not doubt Miss Lucy will be ok."

The king thought for a moment, "I cannot pull only certain keys, to pull them back they all must be, that is how it works… if I could I would leave you with her I would. The human has proved herself to be pure hearted, something we have not seen in a celestial mage in a long time. The only thing I can do for the human is have you give her these two things."

The King agreed, "I will give her this, a book with old techniques to tap into celestial magic and spell that can be used without spirits, from back when Masters were trustworthy and deserving of this deliver this to the master and this scroll, explain what is going on. The rest of you go to Lucy pull her aside and say your goodbyes. Tell her my goodbye as well. She is the only human I liked and I want her to know if I could have let her stay with you I would." He turned to leave the grand hall, the door shutting with a click.

Scorpio gave a sad smile and held his girlfriend's hand, "Let's go, she deserves every second we have left."

The Spirits stood and looked at each other, they had eyes that were sad.
but full of pride.
"Yeah…"
They left to go see her.
Their master.
Sagittarius had walked next to Aries.
Their friend.
Loke smiled at the thought.
She saved them, even if she didn't realize it herself.
Aquarius held onto Scorpio's hand tightly.
They were lucky to find someone as kind as her.
Gemi and Mini walked next to Lyra.
Now they have to say goodbye.
All of them thought about her as they went to the Guild.
Lucy...

Back behind the Guild.

Lucy stood frozen, she felt numb and tears started to form, "Did I not do enough?"

Loke shook his head frantically, her other spirits followed, "Never! You did more than anyone thought possible Lucy. It's just that their are thousands of us and not all can be saved, even if you spent your entire life."
Her knees hit the grass and she saw Virgo step from the guilds back door. The maid came over to hug her, slightly shocking Lucy but welcomed the comfort.

Flashback to inside the Guild.

Virgo stood in front of Master Makarov after explaining the situation. Two new items laid on his desk. He sat in his chair and looked to the ground, "My poor child…" Lucy was one of his favorites.
He couldn't imagine the pain she will go through.

He got up and went to the main room of the guild, Virgo left to go see Lucy, who was outside in the back of the guild.

Master stood and closed his eyes and slowly the guild noticed the master and the expression on his face calm yet sad, he sighed and looked at his children, a frown planted on his face and his eyes full of worry for what time will only tell.

He was next to Mirajane standing on the bar, "Brats!"
They all turned to see him standing, smiles on all of their faces, until they saw his expression, now worried, which then made them worry…
"I have some news, this will be a difficult time for one of our own and we must stick together…"
He continued to explain the situation…

The guild mates expressions ranged from Shock.

Disbelief…
Worry…
Sadness…

The situation entirely explain and the guild stood in shocked silence.
When he was done he stepped down and went back to his office, the guild was quiet…

Erza stood frozen, watching the Master in disbelief as he left to his office.

Mirajane was crying, for Lucy and for Loke.

For all of the spirits.

Natsu was even quiet, during the explanation he tried to say he would fix it, but Master explained that there was no way to fix this. It couldn't be fixed. We couldn't meddle in that realm.

Gray clenched his fists, Loke was a good friend, and like a brother and Lucy was a little sister, he wished he could do something for his family.

Wendy cried hugging the little white cat, thinking that only if her magic could heal a shattered heart.

Levy was sobbing against Gajeel's chest, he would have been shocked and happy for this moment if only his friend wasn't being torn apart by the smelled salt in the air form the tears that already started forming from the guild's members.

Cana stopped drinking and clenched her teeth, the alcohol tasting like it had gone bad.

After a few moments, one by one they started to get to their feet.

Natsu.

Gray.

Cana.

Erza.

Wendy.

Levy.

Gajeel.

Everyone in the guild.
All of them stood to walk out in the back of the guild.
To be there for their nakama.
To be there for Lucy.
