He stood there, at the counter, staring in surprise at the unexpected visit from the last person he ever thought to come into his shop, his older brother. Biting his bottom lip he waits for the yelling and the criticism
to start. Bracing himself as his brother opens his mouth he inhales sharply in surprise, as the only words to come are "Whoa, this is a nice place." A giggles behind his brother draws attention to the petite blonde
woman standing at his elbow.
Zechs' POV
As I entered the new store that had just opened on the corner, at least I thought it was new, a young man standing at the counter staring at him in what could only be shock is one of my first sights of the
interior of the sweet smelling shop. As though this person knows something about me and is expecting something, the younger man is seemingly braced for impact of some sort. Looking around the quaint little
shop I can't help the words that leave my mouth, "Whoa this is a nice place." My sister, Relina, giggle from behind me and I can't seem to keep the damn blush from my cheeks. "Well what did you expect from a
candle making shop, silly?" Relina asks. I watch as she moves to talk to the man at the counter. I then notice as I take a closer look at the man that he reminds me of my younger brother, Akiko, but that couldn't
be true because Akiko had disappeared after the end of the last war. "Hi Akiko, how are you today?" Relina asks him and I'm hit with a gallon jugs worth of shock. "I am doing well, and yourself?" His deep, yet
gentle voice assures my sister "The same." Relina responses, in a bland tone, as she takes in the stores simply stocked shelves. Akiko, my blood brother, I couldn't have stopped myself even if I wanted to, I ran
to the counter and suddenly pull him into a hug, he squeaks in surprise at this action, not that I'm shocked to hear that sound. I'd heard it all the times he'd been surprised but hadn't wanted to physically show it.
