It's time to leave!
It was early morning when John, David and Liam woke up. Alright! We get our first pokémon today! said Liam. These boys were just starting their journeys to become great pokémon battlers. They had planned and packed for weeks and finally the time was here. After stocking up at the pokémart they headed to professor Elm's lab.
At professor Elm's lab…
So, boys, who wants which? Asked professor Elm.
I want Cyndaquil! shouted John.
I want Totodile! shouted David.
And I'll have Chikorita! shouted Liam.
OK, OK! said professor Elm, giving them their pokeballs, pokedexes and pokémon. Have fun, and if you need anything just ring me!
Alright, let's go!! they all shouted.
In the frosty forest…
Hey look, some eevee's! exclaimed Liam.
Let's capture 'em! yelled David in excitement.
Go Cyndaquil! Flamethrower!
Go Chikorita! Razor leaf!
Go Totodile! Water gun! they all yelled at once.
Pokeball go! They yelled in synchronisation.
The pokéballs shook once, twice, three times then 'click'!
The eevee's were captured! Then, they scrambled to frostrun town to heal their pokémon. They then headed to the town's ice-type gym to win their first badges. But alas! When they had collected their pokémon and turned into Gym Street the met team rocket who attempted to steal their pokéballs! No you don't! yelled John, use flamethrower cyndaquil!
Team rocket's blasting off again! yelled Jessie, James and meowth.
At the gym...
We challenge you! they yelled. Accepted! came the response from a person they could not see, I will battle all three of you at once! Go Dewgong! Go Piloswine! Go Lapras!
The challengers let out their pokémon.
The judge shouted this match will be Cyndaquil versus Piloswine, Lapras versus Chikorita and Dewgong versus Totodile!
Cyndaquil use Flamethrower!
Totodile use Hydro pump!
Chikorita use Vine whip!
