Another one shot, yay!

Disclaimer: I own nothing, Nada, bupkiss.

Heaven obviously didn't want us. No matter how hopeless everything may seem, we always pull through. Even after Ari mauled Fang, and put him in the hospital, we all pulled through.

I can't say that I'm glad about this occurring- on the contrary, I love it- but it just seems weird. Or weirder, to us at least considering our lives. We all grew older, and when the expiration date showed up on my neck, I thought my luck had run out. But, oddly, the date on my neck came and went, and I stayed alive.

Slowly, one by one, our expiration date came and went, and we were all fine. I never really believed in god, and I still don't, but somethingof a higher power was at work here. I just didn't know what. Maybe it was my next test to figure it out. Who knows anymore? Not me, that's for sure. But I had decided long ago that I wasn't playing their games anymore, I had already been playing them for fourteen years already. I was done with all the bullcorn they threw at me again and again.

I smiled as Angel played in the yard, her blonde hair swingin wildly as she wheeled around to chase Gazzy. I saw the black numbers that spelled out today' date.

But Angel was still here, smiling, laughing, being Angel. It was almost made it unreal, but that made it all the more obvious.

Heaven nor hell wanted us, so we're stuck here. And boy, am I glad.

Sorry it's so short! I feel bad that it's so teeny!!
