A False Ending
A Clefable's face had distorted into something one would call anger. Cella's ever wonderful day had been ruined by a sight that had filled her with anger and jealousy. Sarah, a Ninetails, had kissed the cheek of a Gengar. But not just any Gengar. It was Gaspar! Gaspar had always been Cella's teacher since she hatched from her egg, and Cella had fallen for his unique charm right from the start. She loved the way her heart would flutter at every hug she gave him. How he worried for her when she got injuries from pushing herself to hard. And how she knew it was true love with how her words got caught in her throat when she tried to speak to him.
But now…
Now she never thought those thoughts, she never went over the memories that now bring her pain and sadness instead of blushes and happiness.
Cella's love had been denied.
Not directly because she never had the chance to tell him, but it hurt just as much.
Sarah beat her to it.
And apparently Gaspar had had a crush on her for since the first day they met.
But Cella loved him too much to be angry and jealousy, and regret her mistake everyday.
So instead she would watch them from afar while smiling happily. It wasn't exactly a genuine smile, but nobody would ever see past her façade.
Her face relaxed a bit into soft smile before she got up and walked to the border of Oran Forest.
Cella's heart, now dead and unbeating, had lied to her. Happy endings were never some thing to wait for, you have to make them. Cella thought. The Clefable looked once more at the happy couple before taking off into the forest, off to find a place where she could forget her sadness.
Love and happiness never creates itself, you have to make it or else sadness and hatred will take away that chance.
