Well, first time I've ever done a story like this. Hang on tight. Flamers, get the heck out of here.
The Legend of Zelda
Secrets of the Past
Chapter One
A Friendly Meeting
Zelda walked into her office after getting into her royal dress. She spotted a letter on her desk. It was from Lirago.
(A/N- Since Teacher doesn't have a name, I'm giving him one: Lirago.) "Zelda, I've been called away on urgent
business that you were supposed to do, but you've been working so hard, that I feel it's time for a break. A traveler
was seen near the Tower of Spirits. Find Link and investigate it. Teacher." Zelda raised an eyebrow and walked over to
a dresser she had nearby. She opened the chest and found a small sword inside, given to her by her mother. She kept
it in here because she was sure she would never use it. Now, she would use it.
(Scene Change)
Link walked through Castle Town and a guard found him. "Link. The princess needs to see you." Link nodded and went
to the castle. Once he reached her office, he saw her holding a sword, in its sheath, thankfully. He glanced at her in
curiosity. "You wanted to see me?" Zelda looked at him. "Somebody's been wandering near the Tower of Spirits.
Teacher asked me to investigate it, and I need your help." Link nodded. Once they both had their gear, they walked to
the Tower of Spirits, trying to make as little noise as possible. They saw the person, a warrior with a sword nearby
him, and a blue cloak laying on the ground. He was holding a pendant in his hand. Zelda stepped out. "Care to explain
what you're doing here?" The warrior faced her and said, "Malladus." Zelda stared at him. "What about him?" "I came
to warn you about it when it was about to happen, but the guards wouldn't let me in." "Big surprise." "I see you don't
trust me. Perhaps this will help." With that, he stood up and took off his mask. The warrior's face was one of a boy
that had gone through great suffering. His brown eyes reflected his hurt soul. His brown hair reflected his calm
emotion. He picked up his sword, strapped it to his side, put on his cloak, and said, "My name is Akiru." (A/N- No, I'm
not using the character from my MTG story, I just like the name.) Zelda made no reaction. Link stepped out. "Don't take
it personally, Akiru. She barely trusts anyone." "A wise policy." Link glanced at his sword. "Where do you live?" "It
wouldn't matter. It was destroyed some time ago." "That's why you seem so pained." Zelda spoke up. Akiru looked at
her. "You can sense it. Good. Perhaps the Triforce hasn't abandoned you yet." "The Triforce?" "About a century ago,
several months before the New Hyrule was founded, there was a war over a relic called the Triforce, which was divided
into three parts: Courage, for the Hero, Wisdom, for the royal line, and Power, for Ganon, the Old Hyrule's greatest
enemy. He was defeated, but at great cost. The Triforce, and Hyrule, were lost." As he finished, a portal opened,
sucking all of them into it.
A/N
Well, an OC in the first Chapter. In case you're wondering, Akiru is not Hylian. He's a traveler who lost his home
when he was just a child.
