Cursed by a Fairy
Cursed by a fairy, evil indeed
Her protectors did not the warning properly heed
And so on her birthday the spell came true
Alas, her time awake was through
So she slept, a slumber so very deep
The spindle prick of her finger did keep
Her from living a happy life
Becoming a mother or a wife
Until the kiss that brought her back
By her betrothed, who nothing lacked
The cause of the misery then became
A dragon anything but tame
But good triumphed when her love
Stabbed the animal with one mighty shove
With her wicked ways gone for good
They lived happily ever after, as they should
