Monty couldn't help but wonder how Nigel would take the news. Would it be he one thing that brought him closer? Or would it push him further away?
I hope this brings Nigel closer to us again.
Should we tell Nigel so soon? Monty found himself thinking, sitting on the couch with his wife as some romance movie played that he wasn't all too focused on. He didn't want Nigel to think they were replacing him, or to push them away.
"Should we tell Nigel this early?" Monty found himself asking. His voice was soft, confused.
Olivia looked over to him. "I don't know. I'm still wondering if we should tell everyone else this early."
"I think we should give everyone the good news. We all need something good to hear." Monty smiled.
Olivia nodded. "Alright. But we should let Nigel know first. It's only fair that he know about his new sibling."
"Well, he's out playing with his friends. We'll have to wait until he comes home to tell him." Monty said, looking out at the setting sun from the window. Nigel should be home soon, hopefully.
