Jem told him Jerrica would arrive later and she'd share her room with Jerrica. Rio didn't question her.
Jerrica told him it wasn't professional for her to sleep in his room while the Holograms were on tour. Rio didn't argue.
The woman wearing red star earrings sneaked into his adjoined room after midnight. Rio didn't notice.
She whispered his name as she slid into his bed. Rio didn't object.
She quietly made love with him. Rio called her Jem in the heat of passion.
Jerrica silently left his room, a tear escaping her eye…all because Rio hadn't known the difference.
