Secret treasure
A smirk came across his face as he thought about all the things he wouldn't have to do. He headed towards the fireplace to make some tea because even though it was midnight he couldn't sleep. Which didn't really matter because he could go without sleep for up to five days straight. But all of a sudden he heard a loud crash from outside which was followed by screaming. He quickly took his black staff and headed outside, just in time to see he house in front of his on fire. As soon as he about to walk across the dirt road everything is suddenly bright. Without hesitation he slams his staff into the ground creating a magical force field. When he looked up a huge fireball crashed against his shield causing an explosion. He then sucked all of the fire with the diamond at the tip of his staff clearing the sky for now. By now the whole village was awake due to the fact that all the surrounding houses were on fire. Now aware that this was an invasion the people ran out of their homes screaming and panicking. Only a few could be heard screaming to go into the church so everyone ran to the center of the village were the church stood. Everyone hurried as they entered the huge church everyone stopping in the middle. When the last person I n sight came in the doors were slammed shut. The wizard then pressed his palm against the doors and with a quick enchantment. Suddenly a huge magical barrier raised from the enchanted circle around the church covering it all in a blue bubble.
