Black Hat felt the flames around him, but he was not hot. Then there was a blinding flash and he was standing in a large field. The vampire brushed some dust off his shoulder, and looked around. He heard a rustle and looked in the direction of the sound, but all he saw was a small moving ball of bright yellow light.
