This was just a random poem I made up during dinner because I was thinking because about what a dad would think about their kid.

Just don't ask

-o- The prayer of the Father…-o-

I lay my child now, down to sleep,

Pray for the lord his soul to keep.

Protect him from the demons 'o hell,

If he doesn't, my soul I'll sell.

Watch him speak, watch him cry,

Watch him smile, the days fly by.

To watch him grow, my one last wish,

On his forehead, I place a kiss.

Through the solemn thoughts and hopeful whims,

I only wish to see him again.

-o-…And the wish of the Child-o-

Who are you?

Where are you?

Will I ever see you once more?

I miss you,

Even though I don't know you.

My wishes are wings that will soar.

Yet I stay grounded.

Never to fly.

My wings are broken.

Dusty and grey.

Sights set for they sky.

My wings will flap.

Taking me nowhere.

All I ask,

No, all I wish,

Is for someone,

To pick me up,

When I fall,

For the last time,

In case I don't get back up.
