Beep...beep...beep
The first though Lilly had once she finally came into consciousness was,
"Am I dead? When I open my eyes will I be in heaven or hell?"
Her heavy eyes struggled to open, as though they had be glued shut. She could see a bright light through the gap of her eye lashes and continued to fight for her vision, praying that she was in heaven. Once her eyes open she was forced to shut them again as she was blinded by the light. The beeped quickened it's pace. Beep...beep...beep..beep.
Lilly tried one more to open her eyes and was greeted with the sight of a stern looking woman in her thirty's looking down on her with tears generally streaming down her face... her sister Regina,
"Doctor! Get in here she's awake!" The woman yelled.
Lilly wasn't in heaven, but she also wasn't in hell, obviously her plan haven't worked. Now her own tears threatened to fall,
"Regina? No! I'm suppose to be in heaven! Why am I not in heaven?" She cried. As she looked around to realize that not only was she not in heaven, but she was lying in a hospital bed, she had been found before she could make her way to the pearly gates of heaven. She glanced down at her arms and saw that they were wrapped tightly in bandages. Her breathing quickened as she realized what would happen next.
"No sweetie, no don't say that! oh god I thought I had lost you." Her sister cried.

"Okay madam mayor just sign there and we'll have a doctor escort Lilly to her room." A nurse placed a pen beside the application on the desk in front of Regina, who was studying it intensely, and Lilly who was sitting completely still with a blank expression on her face as she stared out the window.
Regina looked at her younger sister and sighed placing a gentle hand on her heavily bandaged arm,
"Sweetie I know you don't want to be here, but i don't know how to help you," the mayors voice cracked with emotion, "I don't know how to get through to you." Tears slowly cascaded down her face which were quickly wiped away by her blazer sleeve. Regina tried everything she could to help Lilly, but all she could see of the young girl that used to be filled with sunshine was a hollowed out shell of the person she used to be. Regina couldn't stand to see her sister continue to starve and hurt herself any longer, rehab was her last option.
Picking up the pen Regina signed her name on the page and handed it back to the nurse. Lilly remained still and silent.
" I'll visit you as much as I can, I love you sweetie." Regina kissed the tiny girl on the head before quickly standing up to leave the nurse and doctors to show Lilly her room, before the mayor was tempted to rap the teen in her arms and taking her home again.
A doctor in a plain suit and long white coat walked over to Lilly's wheel chair and began to push it towards the doors leading to the mental heath ward,
"Don't worry miss mills, you'll be perfectly save here." He said to reassure the girl.
Regina turned to walk out the door and as she was about to leave she head her sister say something in a weak quiet voice,
"I'm meant to be in heaven."
